German car wonders

Special features of the 20th century German automotive industry in the museum for half a year.

The 365 Oldtimer Museum invites classic car lovers on a special journey this fall: iconic German vehicles until December 31st are being put in the spotlight, which were once symbols of technological progress, style and reliability.

Our temporary exhibition "Classic German Cars" takes you back to the golden age of German automobile manufacturing. The models on display include legendary brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen and AudiThese cars were not just means of transportation – they are now timeless monuments of engineering precision, elegance and automotive innovation.

The special thing about the exhibition is that most of the vehicles on display are not just static attractions: some are still operational today, giving a real insight into Germany's industrial past. For example, we can see the legendary Volkswagen Beetle, an early BMW 2002, an elegant Mercedes SL model, and even a timeless Porsche 911.

The exhibition aims to show how these cars became international icons – while also reflecting the social, economic and technical changes of the era. Each vehicle is accompanied by detailed information panels that present not only technical data, but also the history, curiosities and rarities of the particular model.

The exhibition offers experiences for all ages – whether it's nostalgic older visitors, young car enthusiasts or families who enjoy exploring the mechanical wonders of the past together. We are also preparing child-friendly programs and interactive content for the youngest.

Don't miss this time travel! Exhibition of classic German cars open only until December 2025, 31 at the 365 Oldtimer Museum. We are waiting for you in Óbuda, where we tell the stories of old cars every day - stylishly, elegantly, with German precision.
