ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

More than 100 special cars | 2,000 m² in area |

The most outstanding vehicle exhibition in Hungary’s history opens its doors to the public and is guaranteed to write a new chapter in the history of Hungarian automotive history. Open all year round, the museum offers an exceptionally rich and varied collection that sheds unprecedented light on the diversity of the automotive industry, with a special focus on education.

The 365 Oldtimer Museum also boasts three cars, only one of which exists in the world, so we guarantee an experience of uniqueness and rarity. But that’s not all, the oldest vehicle in the collection, the Renault Skiff Labourdette Carrose just turned 110 years old this year. You can even tour the Ford Model T truck (1926), once used to sell ice in America, created by Hungarian József Galamb, a period masterpiece that would become a cornerstone of the automotive industry.

Our exhibition includes a Film Theatre and a unique education centre that showcases the historical development of the Hungarian car industry over the last 100 years. Special attention will be paid to Hungarian pioneers such as Béla Barényi, Donát Bánki, János Csonka, József Galamb, Pál Járay, János Viktor and József Ganz, who have played key roles in the development and improvement of the automotive industry worldwide over the past decades.

We also have a surprise for movie lovers, with a beautiful Porsche 911 similar to the crashed piece by Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 2 and the same type of Porsche 928 he drove in Risky Business. You can also see the doppelganger of the Rolls Royce Phantom II that appeared in the Indiana Jones series and the big sister of the 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe de Ville that appeared in Titanic. Last but not least, the unmissable is the Volvo 1800P from The Angel.

The show area covers 2,000 square metres with over 100 special vehicles, but not all of them will be on display at the same time, so that we can change from period to period.

Each month we designate a ‘car of the month’, this time visitors can admire the F7 German special produced by the DKW section of Auto Union DKW in 1938, and get in and take memorable photos.”
